MOH Comic Strips

Zairu's friend Sylvia is entering some MOH divisional poster competition n enlisted my help to draw some comics! i found their story pretty funny, and decided to take on the job. of course the $300 they offered was a huge incentive haha :D they must be pretty pressed for time, cos they only contacted me YESTERDAY, and told me the deadline was THIS THURSDAY. talk about last minute. so i dumped down all my term papers (help!) and worked crazy on the job.

Hope all goes well for them! if they win the competition, i'll get my comics posted around MOH! (woohoo~!) too bad i don't go there haha.

at 2pm today, i reached home arms aching but face smiling and heart racing.

I opened the gig bag to uncover my brand new cherry red Fender Squier Bullet Strat. complete with the Fender Bullet 150 amp (weighs a ton), cable, tuner, capo and stuff.

throw in the effects, some groove, and Boulevard of Broken Dreams finally ROCKS. oh yeah~.

(the whammy bar is still in the box cos i figured i wasn't pro enough to use it and was afraid i'll spoil it la)

Alien Comic for Heavenly Maths Project

i finished this is THREE WHOLE DAYS. i'm amazed at myself haha. :) It's supposed to be an magazine of sorts, with feature articles of the Chinese Calendar, Ba Zi (eight characters) and Feng Shui slot interwoven into the comic story.

the hair took me forever to do seriously. and yes, the sexy poses were done on purpose haha. so the comic won't be too boring with all the serious stuffs :D i'd already overshot the time i told myself i'd finish this by, so i skipped the shading and fine-tuning. aiya, not like pple really notice anyway.

i think i'm getting better with my drawing hehe. the actions and angles and poses are all coming quite nicely to me now. it'd be nice to do drawing for a career. of course, that's if money drops from the sky hah. maybe next time when i've enough i'll try publishing sth.

A New Semester

After a long hiatus.....

It feels fresh to be back blogging again. Had a great vacation attachment (still AMD), caught up with some crazy dudes, had some crazy experiences at clubbing, n now back to school, back to the books.

It's a sem of miscellaneous subjects. Science of Music, Genes and society, Heavenly Maths, Rethinking Organizations.... who knows what this new semester entails.

Time to bid farewell to the high of the holidays and back to earth.
